Rush Haven Seasonal Campground sits on five wooded acres in Stanchfield, Minnesota — just off County Road 7 and a short drive from Lake Chisago. We've been offering long-term seasonal sites since our founding, and our guests keep coming back for the same reasons: quiet, privacy, and a setting that actually feels like a retreat.

Each site is individually spaced with mature trees for shade, a dedicated fire pit, and full utility hookups. Full Utility Hookups

Every site comes with water, sewer, and 50-amp electric. Plug in and stay as long as you like — no guesswork, no shared meters.

RV & Tent Sites

Gravel-pads for RVs with full hookups, and cleared tent sites shaded by mature pines. Both options are spacious and individually bordered.

Fire Pits

Each site includes a dedicated metal fire pit ring. Bring your own firewood or grab some from a local Stanchfield supplier.

Laundry & Bathhouse

Clean, well-kept bathhouse with hot showers and restrooms. On-site laundry facilities for seasonal guests who want to settle in long-term.

Lake Access

Walk down to our private lake access point for morning fishing, afternoon swims, or evening paddles. No crowds, no fees.

Rush Haven is open year-round for seasonal leases. Here's what to expect at each time of year.

Spring

April – May

Wildflowers bloom along the property line and the lake thaws for early fishing. Spring is the best time to lock in a seasonal rate before summer demand picks up. Sites are cleared and ready for setup.

Summer

June – August

Peak season at Rush Haven. Lake swimming, fishing, and starlit campfires define the summer months. Our most popular time for seasonal RV residents who want a reliable home base in Chisago County.

Fall

September – October

Chisago County's fall foliage is one of the best in Minnesota, and Rush Haven puts you in the middle of it. Cooler temperatures, fewer bugs, and golden light through the pines make this a standout season.

Winter

November – March

We offer limited winter seasonal sites for guests who want the quietest possible campground experience. Snow-covered pines, frozen lake views, and total solitude — just confirm availability before committing.
